B. 2-Minute Pitch Video
Record a pitch introducing your project. Ensure the video encompasses:
- Introduction: Start by stating your project's name.
- Highlight Reel: Briefly touch upon the key features of your project.
- Judging Criteria Breakdown: Ensure you address the following elements:
- Design: Describe the aesthetic and functional aspects.
- Originality: Discuss what sets your project apart from others.
- Technical Depth: Highlight any technical challenges faced and innovative solutions used.
- Usability: Explain how users would interact with your project and its ease of use.
- Impact: Convey the significance and potential influence of your project in its intended domain or beyond

Design (20 Points)
● Aesthetics (10 points): Factors like layout, typography, colour schemes, and overall visual cohesion. ● Functionality (10 points): The design should not only look good but also function smoothly, offering an intuitive user experience. -
Originality (20 Points)
● Projects should introduce fresh approaches or perspectives. Consider whether the project offers a novel solution or if it’s a unique spin on existing solutions. -
Technical Depth (20 Points)
● Complexity (10 points): Assess the technical hurdles faced and tackled. Projects that showcase advanced technology use or push limits will be noted. ● Execution (10 points): Ensure the project is stable, has no major bugs, and delivers on its goal. -
Usability (20 Points)
● Accessibility (10 points): Projects should be easily accessible to its target users. User-friendly, accessible to a wide range of users. ● Practicality (10 points): Potential for real-world application. Would it be easy to adopt? Is it scalable? -
Impact (20 Points)
● Problem Significance (10 points): Does the project tackle a pressing issue or a significant gap in its domain? ● Solution Effectiveness (10 points): Evaluate how well the solution addresses the problem. Is it likely to make a real difference?
